Fortis Hospital, Greater Noida Launches Tree Plantation Drive on World Environment Day

Greater Noida : On the occasion of World Environment Day, Fortis Hospital, Greater Noida organized a special tree plantation drive. Under this initiative, trees of various species were planted along the green belt stretching from Honda Chowk to the roundabout, with the aim of helping purify the environment.

The hospital management stated that due to the rapidly growing urbanization in the NCR region, the environment is deteriorating. In such a scenario, planting more trees is the only effective solution to safeguard public health. The hospital has been regularly maintaining this green belt for the past two years. Hospital management, doctors, nursing, and administrative staff all actively participated in the campaign.

Dr. Praveen, CEO of Fortis Hospital Greater Noida, said on the occasion, “We believe there is a deep connection between human health and the environment. Pollution causes various serious health issues in people. In this context, maintaining green belts and conducting plantation drives is a part of tackling this crisis. Our goal is to make Greater Noida greener and healthier.”

The hospital’s initiative also received support from local residents. The locals not only participated in the campaign but also appreciated it, calling it a positive step toward environmental conservation.
