Sixth Edition of Uttar Pradesh Travel Mart (UPTM) Set to Showcase State's Tourism Potential

The Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), proudly announces the sixth edition of the Uttar Pradesh Travel Mart (UPTM), scheduled from April 25th -29th , 2024, at Gorakhpur. 

During the event, Prateek Hira, Chairperson, FICCI and UP  Tourism and sub-committee gave a presentation on UP Travel Mart. The event also saw the address from by Mr Rashid Khan, Past President, Varanasi Tourism Guild , Mr Rajeev Saxena, President, Tourism Guild of Agra and  Mr  Mukesh Meshram, Principal Secretary and DG, Department of Tourism, UP.

This event aims to bolster the tourism sector in Uttar Pradesh, showcasing its diverse cultural heritage and scenic attractions.

The Curtain Raiser for the Uttar Pradesh Travel Mart took place on Tuesday, the 12th of March 2024, at Hotel Taj Mahal, Lucknow, setting the stage for an immersive experience into the state's tourism offerings.

The Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Tourism and Culture, Uttar Pradesh, Shri Jaiveer Singh, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest at the Curtain Raiser of the Uttar Pradesh Travel Mart 2024, underscoring the government's commitment to promoting tourism in the state.

With over 150 hosted buyers, including a blend of Indian and international delegates, the event promises to be a vibrant platform for networking and business opportunities. Additionally, esteemed travel writers and bloggers are participating to highlight the rich tapestry of experiences awaiting travelers in Uttar Pradesh.

The event will feature exhibitors from various sectors, including the Department of Tourism UP, hotels, palaces, travel agents, and destination management companies. Notably, 50 exhibitors hail from Uttar Pradesh, showcasing the state's unique offerings and hospitality.
