Student Reham becomes Vice President of Suez India for a day on the occasion of International Girl Child Day

Suez India honored Reham Fatima, a student of Kunskapsskolan School, Lucknow, by nominating her as the Vice President of Suez India for a day, on the occasion of International Girl Child Day.  Reham Fatima bagged the award for the best video in the video competition organized by Suez India for her video on the role of youth in climate change.

During this meeting, Sunita Kohli (Vice President HR) inquired about Reham Fatima's education and career plans. She encouraged Fatima and also wished her a bright future ahead. 

Speaking on the occasion, Reham Fatima said, “I express my gratitude to Suez India and Sunita Kohli ma'am for giving me this wonderful opportunity.  It is a matter of pride for me, my parents,my teachers and colleagues that my video got selected among many students in a video competition on the role of youth in climate change. Climate change is a topic in which youth have a very important role, because the future lies in the hands of the youth.  Students should get such opportunities so that they can become aware of themselves, the country and the environment."

On this occasion, Sunita Kohli, Vice President, HR, Suez India said, "Inclusion and diversity are of great importance at Suez India. We want Suez India to become an inclusive workplace. For this, we focus a lot on the empowerment of women and girl children. International Girl Child Day is celebrated on 11th October and to make this day special, we had organized this competition. It was organized for girls in the age group of 16 to 18 years. Reham became the winner and was made the vice president of our organization for a day."

 For this competition, more than 15 video entries were received from Seth MR Jaipuria School, Lucknow Public School and Kunskapsskolan Lucknow to which Suez India visited the schools and presented participation certificates and goodie bags. Among all these entries, Reham Fatima's entry from Kunskapsskolan School was chosen for best video.

Suez Project Director Rajesh Mathpal and Communication Head Srijan Prabhakar were also present during the program.
